5th Steering Committee and 6th partnership meeting was held in Split on 10th and 11th November 2021. with all partners gathered in presence and connected online. LP presented overall management updates and next plans. PP3 introduced updates of the E-CHAIN platform (GTFS, API with booking system, CO2 calculation, Web content, Totem adaptations, …). PP4 presented WP5 “Services and Transport Vehicle Integration”. Next steps and deadlines were reviewed and approved.
Interreg project E-CHAIN (Enhanced Connectivity and Data Harmonization for the Adriatic Intermodal Network), will be implemented by 10 project partners from Italy and Croatia. The lead partner of the project is Municipality of Ancona, and the other partners are Amatori Interestate S.R.L., Brusutti S.R.L., G.M.T. S.P.A., University of Trieste, University of Rijeka, Prosoft d.o.o., Jadrolinija, City of Split and Rathmann d.o.o.
E-CHAIN main objective is to enhance connectivity and harmonization of data for the Adriatic Intermodal Network, through the realization of a modular integrated software (E-CHAIN platform) for the management of intermodal transport services in port areas for passenger transport. To enhance the current situation, E-CHAIN will focus on providing new services such as an improved Port multimodal infomobility system for the passengers, a ticketing system integrated with other transport modes, an advanced touristic co-marketing tool for the operators. These services will be designed and deployed in the selected pilot sites (Ancona, Split and Venice).
Duration of the project is 30 months; from January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. The total budget approved for the project amounts to 2,307,748.45 EUR. The project is co-financed by the Interreg program V-A Italy Croatia 2014-2020.
